
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNCW competes in the Wofford Invitational on Monday and Tuesday as prepares for the upcoming Colonial Athletic Association Championships later this month.
The Seahawks finished 13th in their last outing at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Chandler, Ariz. Sophomore Walker Isley continued his stellar play in the spring, recording a new career-low round and tournament score. He was named CAA Golfer of the Week for a third time this season.
UNCW last competed in this tournament in 2003, when it edged Maryland in a two-hole sudden death playoff for the tournament championship.
The Seahawks will be paired with George Washington and Winthrop for the first two rounds on Monday. They’ll tee off at 9:10 a.m. on the first hole.
Up next for the Seahawks is the CAA Championship on Apr. 24-26 in Beaufort, S.C.
