Area golf column: More courses going green … with paint

What began as an experiment by a few courses over the past couple of years has turned into a full blown trend on the Grand Strand this winter: Courses with Bermudagrass greens are opting to paint the dormant grass for a few months rather than overseed with the cool-weather poa trivialis.
